Classes of uniformly starlike and convex functions

Some classes of uniformly starlike and convex functions are introduced. The geometrical properties of these classes and their behavior under certain integral operators are investigated. 1. Introduction. Let A denote the class of functions of the form f (z) = z+ ∞ n=2 a n z

Parabolic Starlike and Uniformly Convex Functions

The main object of this paper is to derive the sufficient conditions for the function z {pψq (z)} to be in the class of uniformly starlike and uniformly convex function associated with the parabolic region Re {ω} > |ω − 1| . Further, the hadamard product of the function which are analytic in the open unit disk with negative coefficients are also investigated. Finally, similar results using an i...

The Norm Estimates of Pre-Schwarzian Derivatives of Spirallike Functions and Uniformly Convex $alpha$-spirallike Functions

For a constant $alphain left(-frac{pi}{2},frac{pi}{2}right)$,  we definea  subclass of the spirallike functions, $SP_{p}(alpha)$, the setof all functions $fin mathcal{A}$[releft{e^{-ialpha}frac{zf'(z)}{f(z)}right}geqleft|frac{zf'(z)}{f(z)}-1right|.]In  the present paper, we shall give the estimate of the norm of the pre-Schwarzian derivative  $mathrm{T}...

Uniformly Convex Functions on Banach Spaces

We study the connection between uniformly convex functions f : X → R bounded above by ‖ · ‖p, and the existence of norms on X with moduli of convexity of power type. In particular, we show that there exists a uniformly convex function f : X → R bounded above by ‖ · ‖2 if and only if X admits an equivalent norm with modulus of convexity of power type 2.

Some Uniformly Convex Spaces

size of the éliminants but the size of their largest prime factor which is important, and secondly it is not essential to take the w's in order of magnitude. In answer, it should be pointed out that after one passes the limits of factor tables, it becomes impracticable to deal with the factors of the éliminant rather than the éliminant. Therefore, since the éliminant (in one case at least) appe...
